Director of Strategic Advisory Services
About the Role:
This is a role for the advisor who thrives in complexity and brings structure to chaos. As Director of Strategic Advisory Services, you'll work closely with ultra-high-net-worth families to provide integrated, high-impact solutions across tax, financial, operational, and investment landscapes.
You’ll lead a sharp, multidisciplinary team that functions as the strategic backbone to our client relationships—helping families translate goals into action, manage sophisticated deal flow, and execute planning with precision. This is a senior seat with room for meaningful influence.
What You'll Lead
Tax & Financial Strategy
- Develop and oversee tax-optimized wealth and income strategies.
- Lead advanced cash flow modeling to inform near-term planning and long-term capital allocation.
- Ensure all recommendations are coordinated across investment, legal, and estate perspectives.
Investment & Deal Advisory
- Guide due diligence for private equity, venture capital, and direct investments.
- Evaluate structures, risks, and alignment with the family’s overarching financial architecture.
- Support pre- and post-liquidity event planning for founders and business owners.
Business & Operational Consulting
- Advise business-owning families on performance, structure, and exit readiness.
- Drive strategic planning for operating companies, special projects, and family enterprises.
- Coordinate with other advisors to ensure execution across all verticals.
Leadership & Execution
- Manage a team of strategic consultants and analysts—delivering clear, consistent client value.
- Maintain accountability across workflows, deliverables, and relationship health.
- Promote a culture of rigor, responsiveness, and strategic ownership.
What You Bring
Depth of Experience
- 10+ years in UHNW tax planning, financial consulting, or advisory roles.
- Exposure to deal structuring, due diligence, or business strategy is critical.
- Track record of managing complex deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
Educational Foundation
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, JD, or MBA credentials are a strong plus.
- Series 65 license or ability to obtain one within 60 days
Client and Team Leadership
- You know how to lead conversations in the boardroom and the family office.
- You're comfortable managing others and setting a standard of excellence.
- You operate with sound judgment, forward-thinking, and discretion.
